Marin's Studium Punctum Photo
I'm a foody, so any photo that makes food look good is going to attract my attention. Not surprisingly, for me, the studium of this photo is the sandwhich. The puntum is the proximity of the mustard bottle to the beer glass and the child's bright blue/purple shirt. I love the way the colors play off each other and draw the viewer toward them.

Interesting choice of photo, there's so much going on I think it makes it harder to tell what your punctum is.
ReplyDeleteThough I guess it really does vary between people, for me it's the kids finger raised above the glass.
Cool choice though : p

I agree with Tori- I'm not sure if it's the hand or the eyes, but it's somewhere with the kid in the background.
ReplyDelete(at least for me)
ReplyDeleteI really like this photo. I totally feel ya on the foodie front. It's interesting how the punctum changes for different people, because for me it's that really white part of the egg in the front. But overall cool choice

I would have to agree with both Mariel and Caitlin on this--I like the relationship of the child's face to the egg in the foreground. It's very Supersize Me-esque, I think.
