I took this picture yesterday in Whoknowswhere, OH. The studium is the house being taken over by these vines, and the punctum (at least for me) is the animal peeping out in the bottom right corner.
I love this photo, Mariel! For me the punctum is the doorway including the overhang and the vines covering a full half of the door. I also am really struck by the fact that if you look at the left side of the photo the building seems to be leaning...I also really love the top left window that you can see through to what looks like a whole in a window at the back of the house. Creepy, but I love it!
I find the broken parts of the windows to be quite captivating as potential punctum or focal points - two panes gone and then one smaller hole.
