I really like what you did with the varying of depth of field and angles for each image. I'm not sure if it's the lighting or a combination of subject and angle, but especially in the second, third and last one I feel they have a humorous feel to them, in a positive way. Great job.
I love this idea of presenting Americana in a somewhat "mocking" way. I know many people (namely all of my relatives) that would not see these pictures as at all humorous, but rather as symbols of patriotism and the American dream. As we discussed in class today, I think maybe pushing this idea even further might make this more apparent to any viewer regardless of context.
