I really like the solo cup/collegeification of the ad. I think that the coolest part of the ad is the soda pouring though- it might be interesting to play around with that more! Maybe you could not pour it straight down if you wanted to be satirical, but something different?
Tori, your ad doesn't have the same lighting/general feeling as the original, but I think it is really funny :) You've done a good job at the satirical part...and I think the fact that the bottle is closed really adds to that satire.
I totally dig the idea of a satire-and I like how you did that with a different kind of pop and keeping the lid closed..I think the different background and the solo cup are really cool, and they add a completely different vibe and I'm not quite sure if its a satirical vibe, or just different. If you had a few more connecting elements to the original (i.e. having more exact lighting, same hand placement, etc) then it would have strengthened the satirical part of it. ~Caitlin
