So this is the photo i was trying to reproduce. It's an advertisement for Armada Skis featuring Tanner Hall.
I took a photograph of my roommate Scott in the light studio and superimposed it onto a photo I took over spring break in Colorado.

Very cool- your roommates face is spot-on haha! Good photoshopping too.
ReplyDeletei like how you used an image of yours that you took a while ago, that's a really neat idea.
ReplyDeletei also like how you continue to experiment in every project we do, in different ways.

Nice work! I think it's great that you combined your lighting studio work with another picture you'd taken previously. I also think your mountains are more interesting than those in the original ad.
ReplyDeletethis was a really ambitious shot. i really like how you used not only an image you had to create with some potentially hard-to-locate props, but then proved your skills with photoshop. his positioning and everything is also very accurate. the only thing i would suggest would be perhaps to change the lighting in your background to match that more ambiguous, snowy look in the first image. other than that, though, good work!

ReplyDeleteI think your roommate got the position of his body very close to the real one. I also think you did a nice job with the props and recreating this photo. Nice job!
