I really like this picture because I wasn't quite sure what it was at first. I am guessing that it is roots, but at first glance it could be a row of sticks or even small trees. There is a definite element of repetition in this photograph, but enough variation that it is still visually interesting and captivating. I also really enjoy the contrast and range of values.
